Katrina Relief Effort

Meyersdale Elementary students recently raised funds to help the victims of
Hurricane Katrina. The school's Spirit Committee organized a coin collection
and students donated $2,258.79 to aid in disaster relief. The following
organizations received donations from this drive: Habitat For Humanity,
American Red Cross, Noah's Wish and The Pittsburgh Project. The Meyersdale
Elementary students did a super job of showing that they care.
