  • Thank you to all kind and generous Meyersdale employees and students who purchased daffodils to support the annual Blooms of Hope campaign, which raises money for local cancer patients and their families, particularly for those in hospice care.  With your support, NHS raised $1,000 for this wonderful cause.

  • The 2021-2022 edition of Hi-Point, the yearbook for the Meyersdale Area High School, has been recognized as a “Program of Excellence!”

Jostens sponsors an annual excellence evaluation of all publications and MAHS Hi-Point received Gold Level status. Each publication is judged in three categories. The first category, A Meaningful Book for All Students, evaluates if at least 50% of the student body is pictured three or more times in the yearbook. The second area of consideration is sales. MAHS excelleed both in sales and buy-rate growth. The third category is Effective Program Management, meaning the publication met all cover and endsheet deadlines. Hi-Point met, and exceeded, all of these requirements.
