Students earn Keystone Degrees

The following Meyersdale FFA Chapter members received their Keystone Degrees at the PA FFA Mid-Winter Convention during the 103rd Pennsylvania Farm Show on January 7  in Harrisburg: Riley Whitfield, McKenzie Glass, Briannah McKinney and Grace Oakes. This award, presented by the Pennsylvania FFA Association, is the second highest achievable award that can be earned in FFA. The candidates must have demonstrated leadership abilities and earned or productively invested at least $1,000 and/or worked at least 300 hours in a supervised agricultural experience program. Just three percent to four percent of the more-than 12,000 Pennsylvania FFA members qualify each year for a Keystone Degree.
