FACS to host Pampered Chef catalog party
The Family and Consumer Science Club (FACS), at Meyersdale Area High School, needs your help to equip their pantry!
The Family and Consumer Science Club is selling Pampered Chef to earn new cooking equipment for the Home Ec room.
According to Mrs. Adrienne Vogt, the Family and Consumer Sciences teacher at MAHS, she was looking to replace some items in the classroom and she was approached by the mother of a student, who sells Pampered Chef. Pampered Chef offers a Tools for Schools Fundraiser and Jessica Hardy offered to help Vogt and her students with a “catalog party.”
Every order placed through Hardy will help the FACS reach a higher sales level, allowing the group to earn free products for their kitchen.
“We are looking to replace items that get a lot of use here, like measuring cups, measuring spoons and other utensils,” Vogt said.
Vogt said partnering with Pampered Chef is a great opportunity for FACS as their products are durable and of high quality.
“They will stand the test of time in your kitchen and withstand the rigorous use in our school kitchen,” she added.
Please consider purchasing some new cooking equipment for your home and helping to provide quality durable kitchen utensils for the students at MAHS!
