The following Meyersdale High School students have been named Remarkable Raiders for the Month of October: Laurel Daniels, Gloria Armour, Trevor Donaldson and Olivia Miller.

Daniels, a ninth grade student, is the daughter of Tonya and Jeff Daniels. She is a member of the Volleyball, Basketball and softball teams. She is a member of the MAHS Jazz Band, Chorus, Raider Review, SADD Club and Student Council. Outside of school, Daniels is a student at the Garrett School of Dance, travel softball and basketball. She is enjoying the school year and loves her Biology class,

Armour is a tenth grade student at MAHS. She is the daughter of Erica Hummelbaugh of Meyersdale. She is a member of the Meyersdale Red Raider Marching Band and high school musical. Her hobbies include working out, doing her homework and making signs for the Red Raider Varsity Football team. Armour loves singing and dancing and is enjoying the school year so far.

Donaldson is the son of Stephanie and Danny Donaldson, and he is a Junior at MAHS. His school activities include Varsity Wrestling and FFA. His other activities include weightlifting, hunting and fishing. A member of the 4-H, Donaldson also enjoys showing livestock. He is enjoying being a member of the junior class as it is leading him one step closer to his goal of attending college after graduation.

Miller is a senior at MAHS and is the daughter of Jennifer and Tim Miller, Meyersdale. She is a softball, volleyball, and basketball player. When she is not playing sports, she works at Albright’s Pizza and More, and dances at Studio 7 School of Dance. She is president of the Student Council and National Honor Society and Vice President of the Class of 2021. She is also involved in Leo’s Club, Science Club, and Prom Committee. In her free time, she loves to play with her dog, Remi, and watch scary movies. After graduation, she plans to attend a four year college followed by medical school to become a cardiovascular surgeon. She likes being a senior because she is extremely close to graduating, and Miller cannot wait to further her education and move on to college.
