MAHS Trunk or Treat planned
MEYERSDALE - As Lightning McQueen once said “I want to give the folks a little sizzle,” and that is just what the Meyersdale Area High School Student Council promises for the 2020 Trunk or Treat. The Trunk or Treat event will be centered on the theme of Cars, from Disney. To adapt to State regulations, MAHS Red Raiders have planned a safe trick-or-treating event that will be held outdoors from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 31.
“We were determined to have an event for our local community and we wanted to offer children a safe, but fun, Halloween experience,” explained Patti Shaulis, Student Council Advisor.
Students, faculty and staff will be in costumes and will decorate their own “Cars” at the Meyersdale Area High School parking lot to offer treats. The route will be clearly marked for participants to enjoy a “racetrack” to fun!
Volunteers are confident that the MAHS Trunk of Treat will be an afternoon of fun for area children and hope to see all the local littles come out for some treats before they enjoy Meyersdale’s Trick or Treat beginning at 6 p.m. at participating homes in Meyersdale.
