MAHS to host Trunk or Treat!
MEYERSDALE - The Meyersdale Red Raider Student Council has planned an “udderly fabulous” afternoon for area children with their annual Trunk or Treat event. The Trunk or Treat event will be centered on the theme of Farm Animals. To adapt to health regulations, MAHS Red Raiders have planned a safe trick-or-treating event that will be held outdoors from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 30.
“We wanted to build on last year’s success and continue to offer area children an afternoon of fun in a safe environment” explained Patti Shaulis, Student Council Advisor.
Students, faculty and staff will be in costumes and will decorate their own “farm equipment” at the Meyersdale Area High School parking lot to offer treats. The route will be clearly marked for participants to enjoy a “barnyard” of fun!
Stewart’s Transportation also plans to bring a bus out to the Trunk of Treat event and will be offering treats.
Volunteers are confident that the MAHS Trunk of Treat will be an afternoon of fun for area children and hope to see all the local littles come out for some treats before they enjoy Meyersdale’s Trick or Treat beginning at 4 p.m. at participating homes in Meyersdale. So, gather up your “herd” and head to the barnyard for some Halloween fun!
