Student volunteers beautify the community

Each Spring and Fall, a group of students from Meyersdale Area High School, donate their time and boundless energy to improve their community. On October 29, students from FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), National Honor Society and Student Council spent the day volunteering to improve the “Maple City.” Volunteers included: (front row, from left) Avery Logsdon, Kylie Sipple, Kylie Emerick, Lydia Renzi, Melanie Riether, Connor Grasser, Karaha Snyder and Faith Decker;  (second row) Malia Sines, Gracie Paulman, Laurel Daniels, Tiani Christner, Madi Porter, Halley Riggleman, Regan Gindlesperger, Trinity Christner, Isabella Donaldson, Morgan Walters, Jozie Booher, Amelia Kretchman, DJ RToush, Zoe Hetz and Shelby Hetz; and (back row) Amber Long, Jessica Daughton, Halley Miller, Matt Diehl, Faith Bittner, Gavin Topper, Evan Thompson, Noah Wilt, Devin Donica, Evan Schafer, Ryan Sechler and Ethan Simpkins. Students raked leaves, cleaned windows, moved items, decorated business windows, weeded, stored the picnic tables in the park and much more!
