FFA Fall Skills Contest winners

Several Meyersdale Area students recently participated and placed in the FFA Fall Skills Contest held at Somerset Technology Center in November. 

 

There were 28 contestants in the Wildlife competition. Three Meyersdale students, Evan Knotts, Aidan Mosholder and Christine Wise, all participated in the contest. Wise placed fourth. 

 

Six teams participated in the Small Gas Engines Competition, including Jesse Miller and Brayden VanBogelen, from Meyersdale. The pai placed fourth. 

 

In a field of six teams, the Meyersdale FFA team consisting of Bailey Knotts, Bridgette Beal and Trevor Donaldson, placed second in the FFA Knowledge competition. 

 

Meyersdale FFA had seven students compete in the Horse Judging: Carrie Engle, Karaha Snyder, Ella Brant, Faith Decker, Jozie Booher, Autumn Baker and Natalie Trowbridge. Engle placed fourth and Snyder placed sixth in a field of 36 competitors.
