Meyersdale Middle School students celebrated the completion of the second session of the After-School Program with a day of fun at Laurel Hill State Park on May 10. Students enjoyed games, fishing and hiking. Throughout the six-week program, students enjoyed a variety of activities and programs, as well as educational enrichment and tutoring. Activities included creating a special art installation for the District and learning the art of fly-fishing. Students, including Heath Engle, were excited to put their knowledge into action. He is seen here with Miss Terri Piatak and a “brownie” he caught in Laurel Hill Creek.
