It was “bound” to happen - the Meyersdale Middle School Reading team did a great job at the 2022 Fall Interscholastic Reading Competition! This year’s event was hosted by the  Bellwood-Antis School District on Nov. 17. This annual competition has been in existence since 1990 and provides over 1,600 students in grades 4 through 12 the opportunity to test their knowledge of books they have read. Students were given a list of 30 books to read and the three rounds of competition tested them on their knowledge of those selections. Members of the team include: Koda Minkus, Dylan Fochtman, Candice Murray, Aurora Comfort, Austin Oester, Ethan Shaulis, Hermilee Minkus and Peyton McNett. These students did a great job and represented their school with pride!
