Middle School January Remarkable Raiders

The Meyersdale Area School District Remarkable Raider program will recognize its January honorees during the February 7th school board meeting.  Students in grades six through 12 were selected based on the merits of Academic Performance, Character, Behavior, Effort, Good Citizenship and Attendance. 

 

The following Meyersdale Middle School students were named Remarkable Raiders for the Month of January: Aubree Kenner, Hobie Dumle and Cassandra Thomas. 

 

Aubree Kenner, sixth grade, is the daughter of Crystal Fazenbaker and Brandon Stern. She is a member of the Meyersdale Middle School Reading Team. Her hobbies include dancing, reading and spending time with friends. Her favorite classes are English Language Arts and Social Studies. Aubree hopes to one day become a teacher. 

 

Hobie Dumle, seventh grade, is the son of Lisa Dumle. He is a member of the Red Raider Junior Football and Baseball teams. He is also a member of a travel football league. His hobbies include football, baseball and gaming. His favorite classes are Science and English. Hobie hopes to continue his football career throughout high school and college and one day play for the NFL. 

 

Cassandra Thomas, eighth grade, is the daughter of Brian Thomas, She is a member of the Red Raider Marching Band and her favorite class is Math. In her free time, she enjoys babysitting. After high school, Cassandra hopes to become an animal trainer and looks forward to volunteering at a local humane society.
