Four Meyersdale Middle School 8th Grade students were selected to participate in the annual Memorial Day Observance in Meyersdale on May 28.  Alana Baker (second from right) and Heath Engle (far left) received the American Legion Good Citizenship Awards, sponsored by Post 112. Taylor Pritts (far right) and Cole Yoder (absent for the photo)  were presented with the American Legion Auxiliary Awards. Engle recited the Gettysburg Address and Baker  recited  “In Flanders Fields” during the ceremony. The student honorees are seen above with Carl Blubaugh, Past Commander.
