The “Pride of the Tribe,” the Red Raider Marching Band, has kicked off their annual discount card fundraiser.  This will be the band’s primary fundraiser for 2024 as the annual band calendar initiative has been discontinued. 

This annual sale, benefiting the Meyersdale Area Marching Band, features a wide range of 27 businesses, from the Somerset, Meyersdale, Salisbury, Grantsville and LaVale areas. Participating businesses include: The GI Dayroom, Fox’s Pizza Den, Donges Drive-In, Take Six, Subway, White House, The Corner Cup. Albright’s Pizza, Schafer’s Floral and Gifts, Arby’s, IHOP, Domino’s Enterprise, Pizza Hut, Em’s Subs, Rey Azteca, King’s Mountain, Auntie Anne’s, Dunham’s Sports, Burger King, Terrace Lanes, Menser’s Mini Golf, Bestway Pizza, Italian Oven, Gourmet Buffet, DQ and Salisbury Hometown Pizza.

These offers are good through September 2025.

The support of these fine businesses is deeply appreciated by the Meyersdale Area Marching Band and Band Boosters.

According to Katie Howard, Director of Bands, the program is a success due to the continued support of band patrons and the wonderful businesses who offer their discounts.

Meyersdale Area Marching Band Discount Cards will be available for purchase through mid-October. Please see your favorite member of the “Pride of the Tribe” to purchase a card or contact the Meyersdale Area High School office at 814-634-8311.  These discount cards make excellent gifts and can be used again and again at participating businesses for one full year.  If you would like to support the Meyersdale Area Marching Band, please consider joining the Band Boosters. The Band Boosters is open to all parents/guardians of band members and community members who would like to lend their support to the program. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the high school band room.
